Did you guys ever wonder what the hell am i doing in the internet and why am i keep on developing applications Well.. it all started way back year 1997 when I was 12 years old. A friend of mine, shared one of his IT books and source code to me but I really don’t have any idea what language is that.

So i was a curious and studied it carefully until I was hooked to computer language and exposed to C language as the start of my programming language.

Later on, when I was in high school, my generous parents buy me a computer set because they noticed that I always go home late.

I usually hang out at an internet cafe and doing some research about html. How does a website is being made, etc. A lot of questions in my head and I keep on figuring it out on my own.

When I entered college, I really wanted to develop a website for our band. That’s when I meet Mr. PHP and other web technologies. Through my passion and perseverance, I was able to create one, which is my first self project, through a free hosted website as times were hard when you’re still a student.

After I graduated from college, I was employed twice which helped me a lot in exploring my knowledge in programming.

Later on, after experiencing the corporate side, I decided to go solo. I end up doing a freelance job which further enhance my skills and abilities.

Doing freelance is way far from having a full-time office job. I have the freedom from my time, finances, exploring other technologies.

With my experience as a freelancer, I was able to strengthen my knowledge with Open Source Technologies and become part of the Joomla User Group Philippines as a moderator for the Philippine Local Forum.

I got involved with different Open Source Community and share my knowledge to those who need it. That’s how I became so popular over the net and now a so called a Joomla Rockstar.

Right now, I am managing my own company, Imashups Web Technology Solutions, that offers web service applications and technologies.

I am looking forward that my company would grow in the next 2 years so that I will be able to fulfill my hopes and dreams in helping my fellow Filipinos improve their lives by strengthening their knowledge and become more competitive in the IT Industry.
